If you do not have mobility insurance, not only will you be responsible for all associated costs incurred in repairing your machine, you may also find yourself being sued for personal injuries should you have an accident on your scooter or powerchair which involves another person.

When you are arranging mobility insurance for your scooter or powerchair, you should ensure that public liability cover is included in addition to accidental damage and theft coverage.
