A1 Mobility is accredited by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) as a broker for mobility scooter and wheelchair insurance. Whilst there is no legal requirement to carry insurance on your mobility vehicle, we strongly recommend that you consider insuring your machine against theft, accident damage and third party risks.

Insurance cover for mobility scooters is available through a few specialist companies in the UK and is not expensive. You can take out cover for one, two or three years and there are different levels of policy available to suit your needs, including insurance on used mobility vehicles. Comprehensive cover is available from about £65 per annum.
