VAT and Mobility Products

Do I pay VAT? Who is exempted from paying VAT?

To qualify for VAT exemption, we require a simple declaration of the nature of your disability. You do not have to show us a letter from your doctor, the blue badge from your car or any proof of the disability.

Whether we have visited you at home or you have visited our showroom we will ask you to sign a declaration stating that the goods you have purchased are for your personal use. If you purchase an item from A1 Mobility (Internet) Limited we will sign the declaration on your behalf and forward a copy to you.

For this reason, all of our products are priced without VAT. The price we quote is the price you pay.

If you are working on behalf of a registered charity, we will need your Charity Registration Number so we can supply your mobility products without VAT If you are buying on behalf of a company, you will have to pay VAT which can be claimed back, as with any other supplies.
