If you decide to be a Full Service Customer, you will be entitled to the following benefits:
A comprehensive personal diagnostic review to establish the category of scooter or powerchair you require, together with the models recommended for you to compare.
Having established the type of product ideal for your requirements, one of our friendly and experienced Mobility Advisors will visit you at home by appointment and bring a selection of models from different manufacturers for you to compare. If you decide to buy at home, try to have a friend or family member present with you, if possible, at the time of our advisor's visit. This will not only give you added confidence and peace of mind, but will add a valued second opinion to your choice of product. We normally bring at least 6 different mobility scooters or powerchairs for you to test drive and compare.
Many questions can be readily answered by a home visit that could not be answered by a visit to the showroom:
Where do you propose to keep the machine? Will it fit?
- Is there a power socket handy, to charge the batteries?
- Are you physically able to get the machine in and out of this storage area on your own?
- Do you need any ramps making to get your new mobility scooter or powerchair up and down the front step? (We will happily make them up for you).
- Will the machine go up and down the kerbs near your house?
- How comfortable is it to ride over uneven surfaces and rough ground?
- Will it have enough power for that steep slope?
- Can we modify your mobility scooter to suit you better?

Our advisor will arrive at the appointed time in a large van loaded with the machines for you to compare (please make them welcome with a cup of tea!). Having given you some basic rider instruction and training ensuring that you are comfortable and confident with the machine, they will encourage you to compare the different models they have brought. Take your time. Compare the different models for style, comfort, ease of use, and your confidence in riding the various different models. You will have the option to part exchange your existing powerchair or scooter if you have one. We can arrange Motability Finance if you qualify. If you do not qualify for the high rate Mobility Allowance, we can arrange 'No Deposit Finance' directly from your home in about 15 minutes.
The scooter or powerchair will be delivered, fully assembled and charged ready for operation, to your door. Any necessary adjustments to your new vehicle will be made at that time so that it 'fits' you properly, ensuring that the seat and tiller are in the correct position for you. If you are taking delivery of a powerchair there are even more things which might need adjusting to suit you - the relative forward, reverse and turning speeds and sensitivity of the electronic controls, for instance. We will then run through the operation of your new scooter or electric wheelchair and provide additional instruction, thus ensuring that you know how all the controls work and that you are confident to ride without supervision.
And finally, you will have a Bumper to Bumper Warranty against manufacturing defects which covers all
PARTS and LABOUR for the first 12 months. It also includes
FREE COLLECTION and
DELIVERY should your vehicle need to come back to our workshop for any reason and a
FREE LOAN SCOOTER OR
POWERCHAIR on request to keep you mobile while yours is away.
You’ll never be left stranded without a machine. As a Full Service Customer you also have the option to enrol in our Gold Card Members’ Club.
